Thereare 3 main types of audits, all of which will be scheduled and pre-arrangedwith Recycler:

- Initialcertification audit: an initial audit carried out on a Recycling Process(estimated on- site time 1 day)

2. Operatingperformance required for Certification
认证所需的操作性能
Tostandardise the auditing process and define a level of performance Recyclermust achieve in order to be given Certification each category has been gradedin terms of its importance.

3. ProvisionalCertification

ProvisionalCertification shall be issued when a Recycling Process has been in operationfor less than 12 months or there are less than 12 months of production or massbalance records. This certificate will be valid for 1 year. A minimum of 3months of data are required in order to issue a Provisional Certification. Whenlicences are in the process of being applied for, then these must be sent tothe auditor when available. If a license application is unsuccessful theauditor must be informed.

4. Change of Recycling Process audit

Recyclerwill need to request a ‘Change of Recycling Process’ audit when during theperiod of Certification, significant changes are made to the Recycling Process.Changes considered as significant are:

- WhenEquipment Capacity is changed by more than 50%

5. Lossor suspension of Certification or changes in Recycling Process

Underthe terms of Certification, Recycler must inform the audit company if:

- Recyclerhas an operating or environmental permit removed (that is required by law) ornot renewed. Action: removal of Certification.

- Recyclergoes into administration. Action: removal of Certification.
- 回收者进入管理阶段。行动：取消认证。
- Theyintend to, or have, shut down the Recycling Process for the foreseeable future(>6months). Action: Suspension of Certification.

- Thereis a significant change to Recycling Process (see Section above). Action:Arrange the Audit Report.

- Recycleror Recycling Process has been sold to a different and unrelated company.Action: Recycler must inform the auditor and sign a document to confirm thatthey do not intend to make significant changes to Recycling Process, or itsmanagement, that would result in the likely removal of Certification (with afocus on category 1 topics). An example letter to be sent to Recycler and formfor them to sign is shown in Annex 2.

Incase of non-compliance, due to any circumstance, with the current or past certificateRecycler must immediately inform the related suppliers, customers and theEuCertPlast Consortium by letter.

Allthe provided data from Recycler must be provided in good faith, if not Certificationwill be revoked.

6. Renewalof Certification

Amonitoring audit can be arranged 6 weeks prior to the expiry of the existingcertificate. The date of the new certificate will be from the expiry date ofthe old one or the date of the audit (if this is after the expiry date).

7. Costof the audit
审计费用
Certificationis voluntary and paid for by Recycler.

8. Eligibilityto apply for Certification

Certificationwill only be granted for Recycling Processes capable of recycling Post ConsumerInput Plastic Waste.
