1. TestEquipment

测试要求

1.1 Aconical leg anvil made from steel used to secure the shin guard during impacttesting connected to a heavy base [55 lbs (25 kg) minimum] with an adjustablemounting that will allow impacts to be delivered to any point of the shin guard.This assembly shall be mounted to a substantial base plate of at least 330 lbs(150 kg).

由钢制成的圆锥形腿砧,用于在冲击测试过程中固定护胫,并连接到重型底座(最小55磅(25千克)),可调节安装,可将冲击力传递到任何位置护胫。该组件应安装在至少330磅(150千克)的坚固底板上。

1.2 Thespherical impactor as specified in ASTM 1446 shall be attached to the free falldrop assembly carriage free to slide on a vertical guide. The guide assemblyshall not weigh more than 2.43 lbs (1100 g). The total weight of the guideassembly and spherical impactor shall be 11.02 lbs ± 0.22 (5000 g ± 100).

1.3 Alinear accelerometer is mounted at the center of gravity of the sphericalimpactor with the sensitive axis aligned to within 5° of the vertical when thespherical impactor is in the impact position. This transducer shall be capableof withstanding a shock of (1000 g) without damage and shall have a frequencyresponse (variation ± 1.5 %) over the range from 5 to 900 Hz.

线性加速度计安装在球形撞击器的重心处,当球形撞击器处于撞击位置时,其敏感轴对准垂直方向的以内。该换能器应能承受(1000 g)的冲击而无损坏,并且应具有5900 Hz范围内的频率响应(变化±1.5%)。

1.4 Theimpact shall be recorded on a storage oscilloscope with at least a 50 kHzbandwidth, or any digital system meeting or exceeding these requirements.Acceleration data channel and filtering shall comply with SAE RecommendedPractice J211, CFC 1000.

冲击应记录在带宽至少为50 kHz的存储示波器上,或任何达到或超过这些要求的数字系统上。加速数据通道和过滤应符合SAE推荐规范J211CFC 1000


2. ImpactTest Method

冲击试验方法

2.1 Threeidentical shin guards shall each be impacted at three identical sites, withthree impacts at each site. Time between successive impacts shall be 75 s ± 15.The center of any impact series shall not be less than 1.97 inches (50 mm) fromany previous impact series nor closer to any edge than 0.59 inches (15 mm).Impact locations shall be selected to include any apparent weak points but mustlie within the area of coverage. At least one impact site shall be in thecentral portion of the guard, and at least one impact a site shall be withinthe lateral portion of the guard. If guards are labeled left and right at leastone of each side shall be tested.

NOTE:In the event that the extent of protective coverage lies within the 15 mm“offset” from the edge the impact center must still be 15 mm from the edge.However in any case where the test area was limited by the 15 mm offset theguards’ protective properties must extend to the edge of the extent ofprotective coverage.

2.2 Eachshin guard shall be fastened onto the impact leg anvil (see figure 1) in such away as to limit movement during impacts. The leg anvil is positioned so thatthe striking face of the spherical impactor impacts the surface of the shinguard.

每个护腿板均应固定在撞击腿砧上(见图1),以限制运动时的撞击。放置腿砧的位置应使球形撞击器的打击面撞击护胫的表面。

2.3 Thespherical impactor is raised above the shin guard and allowed to fall strikingthe shin guard at the velocity specified in table 1 below for each locationchosen. Velocities shall be measured within 1 inch (25.4mm) of the impact.

对于所选的每个位置,球形撞击器都将升高到护腿板上方,并允许其以下表1中指定的速度撞击护腿板。测得的速度应在冲击力的1英寸(25.4毫米)以内。

2.4 Theimpact location, resultant peak g and velocity shall be recorded for eachimpact.

3. RetentionTest 

持久性测试

3.1 Attachthe shin guard onto the retention test leg anvil (see figure 3) following themanufacturer’s fitting instructions.

按照制造商的安装说明,将护腿板安装到固定测试腿砧上(参见图3)。

3.2 Usinga spring balance, force gauge or other suitable device; apply a test force of15 ± 2 N tangential to the surface of the shin guard. The force can be appliedin any direction except in the direction corresponding to the downwarddirection when the shin guard is worn as in play according to themanufacturer’s fitting instructions. This force is applied for not less than 30s nor more than 45 s.

使用弹簧秤,测力计或其他合适的装置;在护胫的表面上切向施加15±2 N的测试力。当按照制造商的安装说明在比赛中穿着护胫时,可以沿除向下方向相应的任何方向施加力。施加此力的时间不少于30 s不超过45 s

3.3 Thedisplacement of the shin guard is measured when the force is removed andrecorded.

当移除并记录力时,将测量护胫板的位移。
